Hurricanes, or a severe tropical storm, get most of their power from warm ocean waters. What happens to the warm ocean waters afterwards? Does it cool down? And if it does, is it a drastic change, or only a slight change? We will explore Hurricane Ivan, Nicole, Bonnie, Grace, Claudette, and Lili and their effect on sea surface temperatures as they form.
